Proviodine Solution 10% 500 mL

Uses

Proviodine Solution is used for pre- and post-operative antisepsis, disinfection of the skin, mucous membranes, wounds, burns and lacerations and in dentistry.

Dosage/Directions for Use

For operating personnel: Pour 5 mL on the hand and rub for about 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly under water.

For the patient: Apply a sufficient amount to cover the affected areas. Massage for 5 minutes then rinse. Allow to dry before applying surgical drapes.

Storage

Store at room temperature between 15^oC and 30°C.

Ingredients

Proviodine Solution contains: Povidone-Iodine 10%.

Non-medicinal ingredients: Octoxynol-8, purified water and sodium phosphate tribasic.

Precautions

For external use only.

If irritation develops or increases, use of the product should be discontinued.

If irritation persists for more than 5 days, consult a physician.
