Aircast Cryo Cuff Knee System with Cooler

The Donjoy AirCast Cryo/Cuff system combines the therapeutic benefits of controlled compression with cold therapy to minimize hemarthrosis, edema hematoma, swelling, and pain. The cuffs are anatomically designed to completely fit the body providing maximum cryotherapy. This system includes the cuff and a cooler (which includes a tube assembly and insulation disk). This cold therapy system, also known as a cryocuff, is a very simple yet effective method for cold therapy, that is cooling a particular body part. It is composed of an insulated cooler in which ice and water are placed, within the cooler is a water pump that circulates the water through a cooling pad that is strapped onto the patient (knee), and then returned to the cooler.
